A Light Divided is going all in with their new album, “Choose Your Own Adventure.” The disc was released in October and the band just finished an extensive, regional U.S. tour. The group is hoping “Choose Your Own Adventure” will be their breakthrough album, and there’s certainly reason to be optimistic.
Among the new albums I’ve been spinning lately is the excellent sophomore effort by heavy rockers Audiotopsy. “The Real Now”, which was released on Nov. 2, is a refreshing album stocked with crunchy, piercing, groove-laden riffs and rhythms, urgent vocals, and big choruses.

Onstage, Schenker plays with as much infectious enthusiasm and energy as he ever has, as seen on his new DVD, “Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock: On A Mission Live In Madrid.” The show, recorded last November at the historic Joy Eslava, is an aural and visual feast of UFO, Schenker solo and Scorpions classics including “Doctor Doctor,” “Lights Out,” “Rock My Nights Away,” “Lovedrive” and “Coast to […]
The Dead Daisies By Brian Aberback The Dead Daisies are a band of renowned veteran rockers who possess a hunger and rawness that belies their accomplishments. That’s great news for fans of gritty, hard-hitting, uncompromising hard rock in the style of Van Halen, Aerosmith and AC/DC. The collective consists of singer John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), guitarists Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner). The Dead Daisies outstanding new album, “Make Some Noise,” was released last week and the band plays Webster Hall […]
