The name Kiabacca comes from a rare type of wood found in the rainforest of St. Croix whose leaves closely resemble that of the Cannabis plant. Artists and craftsmen would travel to St. Croix and seek out this wood from a man named Fletcher Pence. Fletcher had a ‘workshop’ of sorts and would only sell the wood if he agreed with what it was going be used for.
